Hagar was born and raised in Israel. She began her musical education with piano
lessons and choir singing in the Givataim conservatory. In 2004, Hagar joined the Moran Singers Ensemble and performed with them as a soloist as well as a member with the best Israeli orchestras and conductors. From 2006 to 2010 she studied in the vocal department of the Buchman-Mehta School of Music in Tel Aviv University under the instruction of Prof. Tamar Rachum.
Since 2011, Hagar studies with Ms. Abbie Furmansky and Mr. John Norris in Berlin and with Ms. Patricia McCaffrey.
In season 2011/2012 Hagar joined the “Centro de Perfeccionamiento Placido Domingo” in Valencia, where she had singing roles in a number of opera productions. There, she participated in the 5th Mediterranean Festival under the baton of Master Zubin Mehata. In the season of 2013/14 she became a member of the opera studio of the Deutsche Oper Am Rhein in Dusseldorf. She sang various secondary roles on the main stage, in addition to masterclasses, concerts and an
opera studio production.
Since the season of 2014/15 Hagar is a member of the Oldenburg State Theater
ensemble, Germany, performing in major roles on the main stage.
